The Agilent 2200 TapeStation system automates electrophoresis for RNA, DNA, and protein sample quality control. It consists of a ScreenTape device, a 2200 TapeStation instrument, and software. The system is very straightforward to use, simply load the sample tubes and ScreenTape device and the system will separate, image, analyze, and present the results. The TapeStation system can scale easily between tube strips and 96 well plate formats, capturing results within one minute per sample.
The TapeStation system uses ScreenTape, a pre-packaged, disposable tape with 16 lanes for individual analysis, allowing you to process multiple samples at once without risk of contamination or carryover. The Agilent software provides streamlined data collection, concentration and sizing analysis, and generates multiple formats for export. With the TapeStation system, users can check the concentration and sizing of a sample easily and quickly, with regional analysis for fast sizing and quantification, sample comparisons, zooming, and scaling.
