Designed with ultratrace level analysis in mind, the Agilent 7010B triple quadrupole GC/MS is Agilent’s most sensitive GC/TQ system. With less sample injected, the 7010B GC/TQ is able to provide attogram-level detection limits in electron ionization (EI) mode with reduced maintenance cycles.
The Agilent 7010B triple quadrupole GC/MS is equipped with a high-efficiency EI source (HES) that produces on average 20 times as many ions as the previous generation. In addition, the dynamic MRM (dMRM) mode of acquisition provides ease of use and efficiency, and if you already own an Agilent 5975 or 5977 GC/MSD, you can load your GC/MSD SIM and scan methods straight onto the 7010B.
- The high-efficiency EI source (HES) delivers confident trace-level analysis even in complex matrices, and the JetClean self-cleaning ion source reduces or even eliminates the need for manual source cleaning
- MassHunter Software delivers complete control from tune to data analysis and report generation while streamlining your workflow
- dMRM mode enables easy creation of acquisition methods, compatibility with single quadrupole methods provides added capacity for samples typically run by GC/MSD, and retention time locking software reproducibly transfers methods between GC systems
- Built-in technical controls combined with procedural controls ensure the security of your data, control access, and facilitate compliance as defined by US FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 and similar national electronic record regulations
- The Pesticides & Environmental Pollutants 4.0 Database contains over 1,100 compounds with multiple transitions per compound and over 7,500 matrix-optimized MRM transitions, helping you build acquisition methods that reduce matrix interferences
- A heated gold quadrupole, triple-axis HED-EM detector, and fast venting enhance the performance of the mass spectrometer by reducing neutral noise and instrument cool-down time
- Advanced GC technologies like inert flow path, capillary flow technology, and programmable helium conservation help further optimize your GC/MS system
- Early maintenance feedback (EMF) and the built-in intelligence of the Intuvo 9000 and 8890 GCs with diagnostics and monitoring maximize uptime and planned maintenance
