Agilent Reciprocating Holder Apparatus 7 is designed for modified, extended and sustained drug-release performance testing. The system uses a reciprocating motion to dip the dosage form into fresh media at programmed time intervals.
- Configurable. Select standard 50 mL tubes for drug-release testing, or choose optional 100 and 300 mL tubes to fit your specific needs. Holders in various sizes to accommodate extended-release dosage forms are also available.
- Versatile. The Apparatus 7 may be equipped with various holders to test existing and novel dosage forms. The holders reciprocate through a period of 2 cm for consistent batch-to-batch evaluation.
- Flexible. Use one instrument to test six samples from one media to the next without operator intervention. The optional 12×12 release rate station may accommodate up to two sets of six drug products for testing at one time.
- Compliant. Be confident knowing the Reciprocating Holder Apparatus is compliant with the USP Physical Test Chapter <724> Drug Release.
