The Dionex UVD-3000 UV Detector is a reliable module of the UltiMate 3000 system and can be used in numerous laboratory environments for routine analysis and sophisticated research tasks, especially for capillary, nano, and micro HPLC applications:

• Shipped with a deuterium lamp, thus covering a wavelength range of 190 to 740 nm.
• Can measure the absorbance of the eluent simultaneously at two different wavelengths and report the absorbance ratio between the two wavelengths if desired. If the detector is controlled with Chromeleon, it can measure the absorbance at up to 4 wavelengths.)
• Flow cells for different applications are available.
• Upon power-up of the detector, the wavelength axis is calibrated automatically.
• When the deuterium lamp is used above 380 nm, an additional filter is inserted into the light path to suppress short-wave UV radiation.
• The detector can be fully controlled by the Chromeleon Chromatography Management System, providing a high degree of system integration.
• Various safety and monitoring features are provided for system wellness and reliability
• All parts that may be exposed to solvents provide optimum resistance to the most commonly used solvents and buffer solutions.
