The main function of the HP 1050 RAD board is the relative A/D conversion with an analog pressure output and overpressure measurement for the flow reduction. In addition the RAD board controls the two external contacts and checks for the status of active inlet valve and motor temperature. The firmware board (SFW) which contains the module firmware is attached to the RAD board and is used by the common main processor (CMP).
