Knauer Smartline Pump 1000

The Smartline Pump 1000 features a double-piston design with active pulsation dampening. Besides being able to deliver solvents with very low residual pulsation, the Smartline Pump 1000 is equipped with a new motor drive that provides for an extended lifetime and a low working temperature. The Smartline Pump 1000 is available with two kinds of pump heads, each equipped with either stainless steel, titanium or ceramic inlays:

• analytical pump head (0.001 – 9.999 ml/min),

• preparative pump head (0.01 – 50 ml/min).

These various pump head inlay materials meet the requirements of just about every application. Stainless steel is noted for its ability to withstand high pressures up to 400 bar. When biocompatibility is required, our pump heads equipped with titanium or ceramic inlays can be used. The pump heads can be easily interchanged by loosening only four screws. Experienced users can also disassemble the heads for simple maintenance tasks like cleaning, changing piston seals, etc. Due to the new drive mechanism of the Smartline Pump 1000, the pump heads from the Wellchrom series are not interchangeable with Smartline pump heads.. The KNAUER Smartline Pump 1000 is equipped with automatic piston backflushing. This allows a longer lifetime of the seals and pistons and removes traces of salt and other decontaminants from the backside of the pistons.
