Leica CM3600 Cryomacrotome

The LEICA CM 3600 cryomacrotome is a large-surface cryosectioning system specifically designed for the whole-body sectioning of small animals. The instrument can be operated either manually or under computer control, allowing programming of the whole sectioning protocol. The sections may be obtained routinely either on plastic tape or on glass slides for digital determination of the radioactivity distribution or any additional kind of work-up.

• The specimen orientation may be adjusted via a special joint within approximately 5^o (x/y/z direction)
• Section thickness selection: 1 – 200 µm
• Sectioning range (stroke length): 0 – 450 mm
• Total vertical stroke of knife: 70 mm
• Maximum specimen size (LxWxH): 450 x 150 x 70 mm³

This cryomacrotome requires some assembly.
