The Micromass LCT with TOF, Nano spray, LockSpray options is a high performance orthogonal acceleration reflecting TOF mass spectrometer. It comes with a Waters 2795 HPLC and a Waters 2488 Mux. The mass spectrometer utilises a Z-flow atmospheric pressure ionisation source and samples can be introduced by nanospray/ESI. In addition the ESI source has a lock spray option, allowing constant infusion of a lock mass calibrant independent of the sample, giving 5 ppm (RMS) mass accuracy with no sample suppression.
