The Pfeiffer TMH 071 P has a free of wear permanent magnetic bearing at high vacuum side and oil lubricated ceramic bearing at the backing side. The Turbo Pumps TMH and TMU models are identical in terms of design. They only differ in their intake flange. This Turbo Pump is designed for a wide range of applications in the research and industry fields. The Pfeiffer Turbo Pumps TMH-071 P/TMU-071 P may only be used for the purpose of generating vacuum. The turbo pumps may only be used to pump those media against which they are chemically resistant. For other media the operator is required to qualify the pumps for the processes involved.
