Intracoolers from PerkinElmer are subambient devices that automatically control the flow of coolant through a circulating chamber. They are either single or dual-stage mechanical compression refrigeration units with cylindrical expansion chamber and special bolts and insulation for mounting directly on the sample holder block. Intracooler 2 permits operation of all analyzers from -65° C.
