The Thermo Nicolet NEXUS 870 ESP FT-IR/ FT-NIR Spectrometer is used for highly diverse molecular spectroscopy techniques and chemical analysis methods. It covers both the mid and near-IR ranges. A number of accessories will allow the use for solid, liquid and gaseous samples alike. In addition, the modular design allow for easy modifications, including e.g. the characterization of (MEMS) light sources etc. It is frequently used for polymer testing and pharmaceutical analysis.
