Waters Synapt G1 HD/MS High Definition Mass Spectrometer with ESI and Nanospray Sources, Masslynx PC workstation and ion-mobility hardware. The SYNAPT HDMS has dual resolution modes, V-mode(>10000) or W-mode (>17500). During data acquisition with lock masscorrection, accurate mass measurements better than 5 ppm are obtained for elemental composition determinations of compounds that have a m/z ratio of 1000Da. or less. The TOF mass range is 20-100,000 Da in V-mode and 20-16,500 Da in W-mode. The quadrupole mass range in non-resolving mode is 10-16,000 Da for a4000 Da quadrupole and 20-32,000 Da for an 8000 Da quadrupole. Spectra can be acquired at a rate of 10 scans per second, except in pDRE mode, when the maximum rate is 5 scans per second.
