The Waters Xevo G2-S bench top QTOF, designed for identification and confirmation of the broadest range of compounds in complex and challenging samples, is used for studying proteins and their complexes. The instrument incorporates the newest technologies in the area of ion optics for increased sensitivity. “StepWave” ion-transfer optics increases the efficiency of ion transfer and at the same time eliminates neutral contaminants. The universal ion source architecture allows both electrospray ionization (ESI) and nanoelectrospray ionisation to be applied. Samples can either be run via the service or you can be trained to run your own. Contact a member of the Mass Spec team to arrange training. This system is also equiped with an ASAP source (Atmospheric Solids Analysis Probe).
Xevo G2-S QTof incorporates StepWave ion optics for unsurpassed levels of sensitivity and proven quantitative time-of-flight technology to deliver superior UPLC-compatible mass resolution, matrix-tolerant dynamic range, quantitative performance, mass accuracy, and speed of analysis – simultaneously.
