The API 3000 LC/MS/MS System is an enhanced high performance triple quadrupole mass spectrometer with applications in protein and peptide analysis, small molecule analysis in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies, and n-in-one cassette dosing analysis.
The Turbo V ion source enables the use of either the TurboIonSpray or APCI probe in the same ion source housing. Applications for the ion source include qualitative method development and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Use the ion source for electrospray ionization (ESI) with the TurboIonSpray probe.
TurboIonSpray extends the rugged and versatile technique of IonSpray to accept higher flow rates with improved sensitivity. TurboIonSpray will accept flows from 5 to 1000 µL/min of solvent compositions from 100% aqueous to 100% organic, such as acetonitrile, without splitting. This allows the use of 1 mm, 2 mm, and 4.6 mm analytical columns with or without splitting.
