Affymetrix GeneChip Fluidics Station 400

The Fluidics Station 400 automates the introduction of the nucleic acid target to the probe array cartridge and controls the delivery of reagents. With a modular design, each fluidics station independently processes up to 4 probe arrays at one time. The Microarray Suite software on the workstation, which is connected to the instrument, can control each of the four modules independently of the others. A single workstation can control as many as eight fluidics stations. You can use any or all of the modules at the same time. You can also choose a different protocol for each module. The modules are numbered 1 through 4 near the LCD window.
