This Bruker Sequenom MassARRAY Nanodispenser Maldi-TOF Spectrometer is in great condition. It successfully powers on, however we don’t have the resources to fully test and refurbish this instrument.

The Sequenom MassARRAY are ideally suited for assays such as SNP Genotyping, Methylation Analysis, Comparative Sequence Analysis, Quantitative Gene Expression and SNP Genotyping. The Sequenom MassArray Mass Spec has it all including the ability to scale up as your laboratory needs continue to grow. This system is ideal for investigating 10 to 50 genes at a time. In addition, quantitative gene expression can be ran through competitive PCR Method combined with iPLEX Gold Assay and multiplex reactions.

The TOF measurement procedure is also ideally suited to the MALDI ionization process since the pulsed laser takes individual ‘shots’ rather than working in continuous operation. MALDI-TOF instrument or reflectron is equipped with an “ion mirror” that reflects ions using an electric field, thereby doubling the ion flight path and increasing the resolution.

MALDI has been coupled with IMS-TOF MS to identify phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated peptides.
