The Shodex RI-101 RID employs a number of improvements for shortening the time for stabilization. By using a micro-processor it is capable of automatic start-up from eluent replacement to checking the base-line stabilization. The detector is fitted with external input and output terminals as well as RS232C communication ports, permitting advanced automation by linking the detector with various HPLC systems, enabling advanced automation by combining the detector with various chromatographs.
